Like it or not, we all get old and will have to deal with the changes associated with the aging process. However, to a very large extent we have control over the degree to which those changes impact our quality of life, because we are only as old as we believe we are.
In summary, attitude plays a huge role in figuring out how to achieve fitness as we get older!
This is a one hour class specifically designed with the needs and goals of both men and women ages 50 years and above. There will be a strong emphasis on gaining strength in the muscles around the joints to prevent and/or reduce pain for areas including hips, knees, and shoulders. Each extensive mobility session will be followed by a brief (5-10 minute) non-competitive workout.
The class is available on Zoom for those looking to do the workout from the safety and comfort of their home.
